This is a home recording I did toward the end of 2014. I had seen some concertinas for sale on gumtree so I went investigating. The concertinas where not very good but the man also had an old fiddle for sale. I had a bit of a play, it was fairly loud and had a tone which was raw but not unpleasant. Anyway I bought it for $250 dollars. While trying out the new fiddle I decided to see how it would record, I chose a few tunes at random and before I knew It I was adding more instruments and this Can of Sardines was born. This collection contains a mixture of both traditional and self composed tunes.
